Upstairs at the world Arts Factory in Las Vegas. Nay Is opening an art gallery featuring his work as well as the work of his partner BA. Frequency Gallery will be open off and on during set up starting Tomorrow. The hardcore opening is Thursday Nov.4th 2010 starting @ 6pm.

The first shows at this duel Gallery will be ...

Gallery A will feature small scale 3-D mixed media works by both artists.

Gallery B larger bold paintings from Nay & BA will line the walls.

The Real Tuesday Weld Nayarts

I enjoy music made by The Real Tuesday Weld. I first heard the song - THE SHOW MUST GO ON - on an online radio station. After that I watched a ton of Tuesday vids on youtube. Finally I have some Tuesday on my Ipod.

I painted this weekend. I Even finished this one I had been work on since 2007. Mostly Large abstract pieces. No words. One does have robots.

Nayarts Says Thank you

I am a painter. It is my passion. My hands are covered in paint more often than not. I have trouble getting out the door sometimes I will be all dressed up and ready to go when I get an idea. It a very beautiful thing to have a suit on with hands so covered they can no longer hold a brush.

I paint most days. Any surface will do. The best substrates are flat and 8.5" x 11" or smaller. This is best for print making. It is only by luck , tenacity and support of patrons of arts that I am able to have art as my main source of income.

Easter Parade

What a beautiful day it is here in Vegas.
The wind has died down. The sun is shining. After taking yesterday off, today has become a work day. Making prints , painting , unloading from First Friday , packing orders and laundry.

I have thought a bit about the meaning of Easter while watching Archer on Hulu.
It has something to do with funny hats , chocolate and family & friends.

I have a bit of dark chocolate bar in the pantry , already emailed friends and Bryan and Judy are right here beside me. So I seem to be doing Easter right.

Sleeping dogs that dont sleep

My nose is always running and my face looks like a mule

I woke up at Just before 5 am. That is on the late side of me waking up in the middle of the night.

Judy is suffering from allergies and need some TLC.

I should be ready for a nap by the time she is ready for breakfast.

It's not that easy to keep from eating , gonna be strong and wait til I get up the 2nd time.

My life in film

I have a running list of things I have done and places I have gone. It is kind of life an adventure log.

Todays adventure in no way will match the one from last year.

Today something called Earth hour takes place.

Last year My boyfriend Bryan and I road our bikes from our house in Las Vegas to the other side of the strip. ( like at least 6 miles total)

Lots of cars and people and the light went out for an hour.
(only fell of my bike twice)
It was dangerous and fun crazy.
